The Nordic restaurant at the Voyage hotel on Pulkovskoye highway was created in accordance with the fashionable gastronomic trend of New Nordic Cuisine. The main principles of the concept of the institution are relevance, seasonality, locality.
The interior embodies the idea of minimalism and the aesthetics of the Scandinavian style: a single color scheme, natural wood, comfortable furniture, soft natural light from large panoramic windows.
The chef of the establishment has developed a menu with dishes from the ingredients of Scandinavian cuisine: fish of the cold seas, deer meat, Karelian berries, mushrooms. Vegetables and fruits that are classic for central Russia are also used: beets, radishes, apples and cherries.
Lamb tartare with baked eggplant, boletus soup with root vegetables and guinea fowl, duck breast with baked carrot puree are very interesting.
The menu also offers a traditional pizza section. However, northern motifs are also organically woven into it – rye dough is combined with salmon, cream cheese or smoked venison.
Even the desserts from the restaurant’s own confectionery and bakery are unusual: celery root panna cotta with crispy milk foam, chocolate cake with hazelnuts, ice cream with three flavors: porcini mushrooms, flax with cornflowers and rye.
The extensive bar list is made up of a traditional selection of spirits with trendy distillates, semi-alcoholic drinks and liqueurs.
Classic and signature cocktails at Nordic are full of aromas of herbs, berries, moss and cones.
The location at the hotel gives the restaurant many advantages: the establishment offers the organization of “turnkey” events without restrictions on time and noise level. Guests of banquets can receive accommodation in the hotel rooms as a gift.
