Stroganoff Steak House is the largest steakhouse in Russia, an elegant and, at the same time, democratic place in the center of St. Petersburg. The institution is located in a historical building, where the barracks and stables of the Horse Guards Regiment were located before the 1917 revolution.
Natural materials are used in the interior design – wood, leather. This gives the establishment an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The walls are adorned with photographs depicting scenes of everyday life in pre-revolutionary Russia. The horseshoes and nails found during the renovation of the premises are now carefully framed, and the rings embedded in the walls, for which the horses were tied in the old days, remind the restaurant visitors of the historical past of the building.
The menu is based on meat and fish cooked over an open fire. Among the specialties: New York steak, a rack of Australian lamb, cabbage soup with veal brisket, homemade beef sausages with mushrooms and cream, cold strawberry soup.
The spacious bar area gives guests the opportunity to socialize freely, while the dining rooms of the restaurant offer visitors to sit comfortably on sofas or chairs.
In addition, the restaurant has two large rooms for events, receptions and banquets. These rooms can accommodate up to 250 people at a time.
Stroganoff Steak House is a restaurant for diplomatic meetings, banquets, friendly companies, tourist lunches and dinners. There is a children’s menu and a children’s room with a nanny.
